Can a Doberman be a police dog?

In most cases, yes. Dobermans are formidible domestic canines, and very protective of people who care for them. However, it would be a mistake to think of a Doberman as the ultimate protection. For instance, a panther can remove a Doberman's head quickly and easily, but unless you have invaded the panther's natural habitat this is not a likely threat to your safety. Dobermans can also be trained to disarm people with pistols and knives, but they are vulnerable to rifle fire and poison. No form of earthly protection is perfect, but if a guard dog is needed, a Doberman makes an excellent choice. The mere sight of their bared fangs is enough to inspire dread.

If you take your doberman to a training facility (teaches them to fight) when he/she is about one year old he will jump on top of anything or anyone that tries to bother you.
Naturally doberman have a sense of protection (will protect) anyone that he/she grew up with. This includes family or friends.
A doberman will protect anyone it loves to the death. It's 1 of the top3 guard dogs.

Fighting dogs is not only illegal but also very wrong.
And why should an innocent dog have to protect us? It should be the other way around so protect you own pathetic self

Yes, they do use them but not often.

Unlike the Shepherd wit his excellent sense of smell the Dobermann does not and so isn't used as often.

They prefer to stay near an owner unlike the Shepherd and Rottweiler that will tackle the problem head on.

The Doberman Breed is good outside or inside and they are very friendly and can be used for guard dogs, they seem very helpful. They do not handle extreme cold or heat very well though

if a German sheperd is that stupid to mess with a dobermann, than it will learn the lesson(in this situation my dober killed the shepherd)
