Maybe, maybe not, it depends on how it was corrupted.
Also reformatting some SD cards, USB flash drives, etc. while they will work their speed will be much lower than it was with the original factory formating. In these cases the manufacturer warns never to reformat, only delete all the files and folders to empty the device instead.
delete the data and puted in your psp
After formatting a memery card of any type the information is gone forever
yes yes
Try formatting it on your computer.
There could be a few reasons for this. First, take the SD card out of the DS and make sure there isn't any obvious damage to it (missing pins, rust, etc).Turn the DS back on without the card in it. If you still get this message, you probably have problems with the DS itself. Take your DS to a repair shop. I wouldn't recommend fixing it yourself. If you don't get the message without the card in the DS, the card may need formatting. Formatting will erase all of the information on the card. This sounds like a bad thing, but there might be corrupted info on the card that is causing the error. Put the card into your computer, open "My computer" and right-click the card. Click "format" then "OK". Try it again in the DS. If you still get the error after formatting, you may need a new SD card.
If you have a card reader on your computer, then when you insert the SD card, you can format it. Note: FAT16 has a volume limit of 2 gigabytes, so if your card is bigger than 2 gigs, FAT16 will not be an option for the formatting.
Unless it is just a matter of bent pins, a damaged SD card is usually not repairable. If it is a formatting issue, a total format will usually repair some damaged blocks.
Virus. Large in comparison to a sd card. Files may get corrupted. Storage space is limited.
Mini SD Cards can be formatted and reused after a while. They just need to be plugged into a computer through a card reader and having the format disk option run.
The five cameras that I have had that used SD cards didnot need a formatting of the card before using it in the cameras. One of these cars will not be recognized in a couple of USB card holders that I have tried and it will not be recognized by the built in SD card reader in my stationary computer but I can read the card through the camera's USB connection so I'm not worrying about it.
if does not formatted.. use digital object rescue pro.. to repair a memory card.. or use windows 7 to format the memory card..
Formatting - removes all exiting data from the memory card. Think of it like using an eraser to remove all the text written in pencil, on a piece of paper.
