If you are living the UK, no you can't legally leave school when you are 16. It's only once you have finished Year 11, then you can and it's not yet legally required to stay on for years 12 and 13 until 2013.

No you can't. You are still considered a minor. It actually depends on what kind of parents you have. I wouldn't allow my child to quit and if he/she disobeyed me, I would have them locked up in a detention center. no you can not
