No there are no apostles or prophets today. I Corinthians chapter 13 talks about gifts of the spirit. In verse 8 it states that prophecy will be done away with, and speaking in tongues will cease. In verses 9-13 Paul says they knew in part and prophesied in part, but when "that which was perfect is come, that that which is in part will be done away with". The Bible is God's perfect word to us. They only had the Old Testament scriptures at that time, and the New Testament was being written. When that was completed there would not be any need of apostles or prophets. In Galatians 1:8-9 Paul says that if anyone else, even an angel, were to preach any other commandments than what was given by inspiration to the writers of the New Testament, they would be cursed.
Yes
If the meaning for the word "apostle" is simply a loyal supporter and has no reference to Jesus or any particular time period in history.
No.
If the Bible definition of an apostle is used, namely that an apostle was a person who had seen the risen Christ and thus was a direct witness to this central fact.
The term 'disciple' more aptly applies to the first definition, whereas the term 'apostle' is a more specific and exclusive term. This is why Paul was qualified to be an 'apostle' since Jesus appeared directly to him on the Damascus road. Many other later converts, though loyal supporters of Jesus were not so qualified.
A further qualification would exclude many who did see the risen Christ, namely that Jesus Christ Himself chose those who were to be His apostles. Thus many who were indeed witnesses of the resurrection were not chosen to this high office, which obviously ceased once these original people died.
So, under the specific biblical definition of the term apostle, no-one may hold this office today.
Yes, anybody can be an Apostle today. Jesus has already ascended to heaven when St. Paul became an Apostle. All it requires is to see Jesus in a vision not necessarily in the flesh.
Some Christian denominations do have apostles, and some do not. My denomination (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) has twelve Apostles leading the denomination to follow the organization and heirarchy laid out in the New Testament. Some other Christian denominations and independent Christian churches also use the term Apostle - some are lead by a group of Apostles, and in others the term is almost synonymous with a Pastor or Bishop.

I don't remember the word "Pastor" in the Bible, but you have prophetesses (Miriam, Moses' sister) and Deborah, who was a judge. There are also women disciples of Jesus.
She doesn't have a name, but she is referred to as the Sibyl. All the prophetesses in that part of the world were called sybls.
