My first felony was in 1996 for controlled substance and been cleaned for 15 years and good life... Went through tough times a divorce and forclosure and lost job...so i had a pipe and 4 grams of THC to relax, and went to bar for a drink, somebody dragged my truck in the road, police show up take my truck search it found 4 grams of pot and pipe. And now i have a misdemeanor for pipe and the state of Wisconsin is slapping me with a 2nd offense felony for possession of 4 grams of THC with a felony. Date was march of 2011......wow that's a little harsh....im not a dealer or substance abuser...lol
This depends on the state where the driving offense occured and what offense was commited. After your second driving offense of driving after revocation, you would most likely serve jail time.
A penal offense is any offense that a person commits which causes him or her to go to a prison. It is usually a first class misdemeanor or a felony. A second class misdemeanor or lessor will usually result in jail time or a fine.

It means that in some states such as mine it is not a criminal offense. In Maine where I live if I get caught with less than two ounces its just a fine. In other states where it is a criminal offense you go to jail.
