I can't say for sure but I take Focalin and i tested positive for ecstasy amphetamines and meth even though I had never done any of those drugs so it is likely however it was a cheap home test which is less accurate

Adderall is an amphetamine, not methamphetamine. With that being said, most urine tests are testing u for the presence of amphetamines . Methamphetamines show up on a urine test for amphetamines.

Since Focalin XR is an amphetamine it will show up as, well, an amphetamine. If you have a prescription make sure to tell whoever is doing your drug test before the test. If they find something funny in the results it will look like you are hiding something, but if you tell them then there will be no problems. If you are wondering how long it will show up in you results, that is a much more complicated question that depends on how long you have been taking it, what dosage, etc.

Ritalin IR (instant release) is out of your system so fast 72hrs max if it even shows up at all. . I have been abusing ritalin for years and on 2 or more occasions, I did my whole script (840mg)over 3 days nonstop. I went to the hospital to say I lost them to get another script and the urine test me and I literally just finished the whole binge 1he before and it came back negative so the doctor showed me the results and claimed that I had to be selling them or they'd be in my system. I went to detox for cocaine addiction and binged my whole ritalin IR snoring same circumstance 840mg in 3 days, I gave the urine sample 2hrs after my binge and my urine was dark never ate, slept or hardly drank any fluids so I would say all throughout my binge finishing up with about 120mg before entering detox and still it never showed up. Now that's just my system but amphetamines are perfectly legal like coffee, ephedrine, and found in many over the counter cold medicines that ritalin is not an amphetamine but a type of stimulant narcotic that shows up as methylphenidate and/or its scientific lab term. It's not an amphetamine because they tell you not to mix them together. I snort in one line minimum 80-100mg of Ritalin IR ( Pale Yellowish Tabs) APO/MTP-20mg to start the morning and 3hrs later I top up with my last 40mg. I do this routine every other day because I have no control so I requested to have the pharmacy release a 2 day supply every second day so I can have 140mg to work with. I have one day on and take the next day off. Works out great for me because on the day I have them I work online and get papers and stuff organized but can't eat, and on the next day (off day) I eat good and do more physical work like cleaning or anything that doesn't require superb concentration. I honestly wish that either I never started this addiction or If I could have it my way in a perfectworld, I would like it dispense daily at a dose of 240mg In 20mg tabs The same as I get now, The Ritalin IR , APO/MTP-20MG THIS IS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO WITH THIS STUFF AND THE FACT IS THAT IT WORKS SO WELL FOR CONCENTRATION AND FOCUS THAT YOU REQUIRE HIGHER AND HIGHER DOSES TO GET THE SAME EFFECT AS WHEN YOU STARTED. I REMEMBER WHEN 20MG WORKED AND 40MG WAS LIKE MY BRAIN ON STEROIDS. NOW 100MG IS REQUIRED FOR THE SAME EXACT EFFECT AS THE 40MG AND SOME DAYS ARE JUST AVERAGE NO MATTER HOW MUCH I DO.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I DIDN'T WRITE THIS TO BRAG. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE 20MG WORK LIKE YEARS AGO. NOW I HAVE TO TAKE A 2 DAY SUPPLY IN 4 HRS 80-100MG AT 9AM AND 40MG AT NOON AND ITS WORN OFF BY 2PM THEN I HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE DAY AFTER NEXT AGAIN TO GET MY 2 DAY SUPPLY. I LOVE RITALIN AND THE EFFECTS. I DON'T GET ANY RUSH OR HIGH JUST TOTAL CONCENTRATION AND LASERLIKE FOCUS. I CAN COME UP WITH IDEAS AND SOLVE PROBLEMS 5 TIMES MORE EFFICIENT THAN WITHOUT AT THAT MY FRIENDS CAN BE EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE. JUST IMAGINE IF YOUR IQ JUMPED UP LIKE 30% THAT'S NOT A TRUTH BUT IT IS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW IT FEELS

This is why college students and universities have the largest epidemic of adderall and Ritalin abuse. You could crash study all night for a final exam you no nothing about and by time the night is over and you walk into the exam room, your ready and you retained all the information from your crash study and not only pass but Ace it even if you never attended any classes on the subject.. Be safe and careful, do get dependent on this like me and many others. Use when necessary and maintain the lowest possible dose that works without increasing. The moment you require extremely high doses to get the same results, going back means tapering down and during the whole process because you're consuming less; as soon as you begin to adjust your tapering down again. So the whole time that you are trying to get back to low doses to be effective, your not getting the desired results therefore leading to increased dose again. How long with the way it's so adorable and addictive can you deal with a tapering process that will take months of just consistent adjustments without the desired effect you seek before you say that's it and either quit tapering or just give up the drug altogether...

If A low dose works for you now. Please maintain that dose even on the days you feel the need for more. No matter How high the dose your dependent on your still going to have days when you feel like it's not working properly. We all get those days now and again due to everyday circumstances that crop up. That's life.. Good luck..
