∙ 14y agoWhether or not an illegal in the country can travel within the US on an airplane is up for debate. I have one very good friend who is illegal, he snuck into the US six or seven years ago, and he does it about once a year to go to Florida, or California on vacation with friends. He has never had a problem, they ask for identification upon check in and he shows his passport with his name, nothing else. Others refuse to try it for fear of being caught. I think it is a personal choice, and you need to decide if you are willing to take the risk or not. if you have not been here that long, and maybe you could come back, it might be worth the risk. If you have been here for 10 years, are about to get married to an American, that may be another story.

∙ 14y agoyou can travel as long as you have a valid, non-expired, passport from your country. All the airports want is a valid ID, doesn't have to be american.

You've got a real problem. If you leave the country, there should be no expectation that your spouse can legallyreturn to the US. You would have to consult with an immigration attorney to see what needs to be done to get the spouse a green card. They may have to travel back to their country of citizen ship and re-apply to immigrate. If they are in fact illegal, they may have to wait 3 to 10 years before being allowed to re-apply.
