No the decoding would require an expert machanic and one of those I am not.
Hi, I found a great forum that helps out. http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/showthread.php?t=665446&referrerid=74549 Also:
You'll have to look at the casting numbers. I'm not sure if its the same on big block but at least on the small blocks it is located on the block above the starter, which is attached to the transmission and is at the rear right side of the engine block. If you can find it, post it on my messageboard and I can decode it for you to tell you the year and size.
V1 stands for 6 cylinder V4 is 8 cylinder. Your six could be one of 2 6 cylinder check the block casting number for 225 for the big 6
it is not a cracked engine block it is just a loose block
There is coolant in the engine block when the engine is not running. The engine block, heater, hoses and radiator remain full when engine is not running.
The 2007 Ford escape engine block heater is located on the right hand side of the engine block. You can follow the block heater cord to the block heater.
NO....DO NOT use that stuff or any block sealer. They are horrible for your engine. They only temporarly solve the problem and can increase the damage you do to your engine.
You can't, - it must have an engine block.
