Yes you can use it on poison ivy, but I would not reccommend it because it is a very strong antibiotic; you should not use antibiotics unless you have an infection... why use a prescription if you don't need to Cortaid works just as well for poison ivy (not MRSA) and is over the counter.

∙ 14y agoBactroban is used for infections on the skin. Consult your doctor if you want to use it on your eczema. It is never a good idea to put a special type of cream on your skin without permission.
