There are a couple of medications used for the treatment of hyperthyroidism in humans that can also be used in cats, but the dosages would be very different and trying to just split a pill yourself would be dangerous and could kill your cat. Cats have very sensitive systems, more so than dogs, and you should never use a human medication on any animal, but especially on a sensitive animal like a cat, without being told to do so by a veterinarian.
