No. The laws pertaining to minors not being held accountable for financial transactions is somewhat misunderstood. If a creditor/lender enters into a contract with the knowledge that the person is a minor, then the contract is null and void and the minor cannot be forced to repay any monies nor be sued. If a minor accepts a credit card and uses it, either by committing fraud by claiming they are of legal age or by the act of ommission (not notifying the issuer of the mistake) they are responsible for debt incurred. Any negative entry on the person's credit report is also valid under the cited circumstances.
