No. Infact no potential parolee will be released to ahome where any person lives who is pending or has had previous felony charged adjudicated. Contact with current defendants or previous felons is typically strictly forbidden.
On a side note, this seems a shame, sort of one way to set the newly released up to fail. Who better to mentor the newly released than those who previously served time and who have succeeded?
What does unsentenced pending charges
Criminal charges with which the defendant has not yetbeen formally charged.Added:I would read pending criminal charges to mean a criminal charge that has been formally charged, however there has been no resolution in the case yet. In other words, there is a formal accusation, but no conviction or acquittal.
if you have serious charges against you, they could very well could extradite you so you can face them and be tried.
Ask the local police or district attorney's office. Have a lawyer handy.
No defendant no charges. It is done.
Criminal charges do not disappear due to the age of the person committing them. It may be past the statute of limitations, in which case the charges cannot be brought.
If you are genuinely innocent of the charges about your only option is to go to trial with the hope that the prosecution cannot prove their case against you, OR - if you are actually guilty - you can try offering a bargain to the prosecutor for a plea to lesser offense.
What, more precisely, is being asked please?
I'm guessing you mean what is the charge against the inmate? If you know what agency made the arrest you can search the inmate records online for free and usually they will have the charges pending on the inmate.
yes a friend of mine got fired for two pending felonies on his background.
