Yes, Because after the blastocyst implants in the uterus, (You can't see it with the naked eye) You may get a brown discharge a few days later, because it takes this itty bitty amount of blood to exit the cervix. You may have IB the day to a few days after implantation for that reason.

you last period may have not been your "period" it could have been implantation bleeding, which occurs about 3-4 weeks after conception (or 5-6 weeks after first missed period). alot of women can confuse this with their period so i would say its possible that you could be about 2.5 months pregnant - almost in your second trimester! but you may just be 4-6 weeks pregnant too; the first ultra sound will give the doctor a better indication.
How do you calculate when she was impregnated?
well, think of when she missed her first period....then count back 2 weeks and there you go. this is the case since ovulation typically occurs 12-16 days after your last cycle. and then about 2 weeks after that you have your period. so just take when you missed your period and count two weeks before whatever the first day your missed period could have started....
