I am assuming that you are asking . Can i set up an operating system on an usb external drive then plug it into another computers usb port and boot to the external drive using it as my os. You can but it depends on a few key factors. Does the computers bios support usb drives and if so can you choose to have the computer boot to them is the most important. check the bios and update "flash" the bios if needed . the success others that i know have had with this is spotty at best.

It is not normally possible to install Windows to an external drive. If you succeed you will likely have problems. This may also be a violation of the Microsoft License agreement. Check this before proceeding.
