Lol if you really ate enough of it I wouldn't look past it. Many food colorings can color the fluids that exit your body. Sometimes enough black dye can make your pee blue.
Yes it does have that effect on people, as noted from personal experience.
Yes it does have that effect when too much licorice is consumed. So noted from personal experience.
theres red and black licorice when people refer to the black kind they just say licorice because black is the original kind. when people refer to red licorice they say flat out red licorice.
To my knowledge, no one quit making red licorice.
Black/green stool would indicate blood somewhere in the GI tract. It usually would have "coffee grinds" look to it. See a doctor, you probably have an intestinal ulcer or severe irritation. It will probably be taken care of with some prescription meds.Different foods will turn your stool different colors. If you eat a lot of asparagas it will turn your stool green. A lot of black licorice can turn your stool purple to black. If it is always black you might want to ask a doctor.
Do you eat a lot of licorice? Too much licorice ( especially the pure licorice candies) can lower your potassium level which in turn effects your white blood count.
Well sort of yes. Black licorice contains natural licorice root, but the dominant flavouring is usually aniseed. Red licorice is simply made like black licorice but usually has a strawberry flavour.
