No, two different species of animal cannot cross breed. The sperm from one animal cannot successfully fertilize the egg of another species.
There is one exception know of, a horse and the donkey breeding to make a mule, but the flaw is, two mules can't produce offspring. To produce another mule, you must breed a horse and a donkey again.
Advances in cell Biology have opened the door to the possibility of organisms breeding from different species, though.
Hope this helps!
By the way, I used my Science textbook Cells, Tissues, Organs and Systems to help me. (I just finished that Unit!)
Scientifically, YES!
Scientists have successfully bred animals together, of course if that is only if they are of the opposite gender. Not only have scientists successfully "bred" two different types of species together but have also manufactured fruits with two different flavors. Just recently, scientists developed the new 'Watermelon Apple'. It is an apple, containing the content of a watermelon in the middle. Incredible! Who would have thought that was possible? -But yep, it is.
HOWEVER, if you breed two different species/ organisms, you cant produce offspring with them. Scientists are unable to produce offspring from the new species.
There are MANY animals humans have created: The Zorse...
HOWEVER: If the two different breeds are not related, or are in a similar genus (family), it is classified as 'impossible'. A mule and a mare can produce, since they are in a similar genus as one another. But, a camel and a llama cannot produce, as they are not in the same animal Kingdom (Domain > Kingdom > Phylum > Class > Order > Family > Genus > Species)
Thanks!
It depends on what you mean by that...........It is very possible to mate animals of the same species.....such as ligers (lion tiger), zorses (zebra horse).
To some extent, but the definition of a species is a group of individuals who can only successfully reproduce amongst themselves.
Two closely related species can't be merged .
To produce a hybrid animal by breeding two animals of different species. For example, crossbreeding a male donkey with a female horse will produce a mule. To hybridize. Hybridization
Well, for example say the father was a labrador and the mother was a Poodle the puppy would turn out a labradoodle which is a cross between a labrador and a poodle. So if you buy one breed of dog and another breed of dog when they mate you should have a cross between the kinds of breeds that you chose to be the mother and the father. Hope this helps!
I don't know if they could mate or not. But they are two different animals within the same family similar to a porpose and a killer whale both being in the fame family.
There are more than two, but two of them can be Monohybrid Cross (a cross involving one trait/gene from a single locus, and Dihybrid Cross (a cross involving 2 traits/genes occupying two different loci
two different genes source: Prentice Hall Biology Book.
it is when 2 different species of animals breed and create a sort of cross between the two species.

cross breeding is taking two different breeds of animals, inbreeding takes the same breed of animals
to get a new breed
Cross Breed a Cheetah and a Scimitar Oryx. It will cost 5,500,00 coins.
Soba inu's are their bteed
Kudu + Zebra
an animal with purebred parents of two different breeds.
Breed* and a hybrid.
No. Two animals of different species cannot breed.
Two animals of different but similar species breed to produce a hybrid.
If you breed those two different kinds, you will not get either one in their kittens, but will get kittens that have attitudes and looks like those two different kinds of cats. As an example, if you breed two different kinds of dogs, in their puppies you will get a mutt. A mutt is a dog that isn't a one-of-a-kind dog. Those kinds of animals are very special.
