snails can breathe for 6 secs under water some snails 8 but the common garden snail can breathe for 9 if its fully grown i personally think that land snails should be kept on land because if you cant swim you wont want a giant dunking you under would you:(
No, there snails that cannot breathe or survive in water such as your typical garden snail. And there are aquatic snails that have the ability to breathe and live in water which eat algae and you can find these at Petco/Petsmart if you want to have a cleaner aquarium.
Yes for about five seconds then they die and kill all of your fish and make u feel sad and wanna kill yourself for putting a stupid snail in your tank!
Yes, but not very much. The Snail will drown if the water is too deap. 5-10mm is ok. If you want to wash your snail you could hold it under a trickle of water from your tap.
Land snails cannot live underwater as they need to breathe air like any other land animal. This is true despite the similarities between land snails and water snails.
yes they can but not for a long time only for short times don't take them out of water for over 25 minutes or they will get to dry and most likely die
