Yes, it is.
white flour used to make white bread is bleached and processed (some countries use nasty chemicals to do this). The Brown flour is much less refined, and a more 'natural' product. White bread may also contain more sugars and additives.
This is, of course, subject to which brand of bread you buy! Read the label, the less confusing chemical names in the list and the higher up the list the flour and water is, the better.
"Wholemeal flour is not refined in the same way as white flour. Wholemeal flour retains the husk of the wheat, or bran which is where all the nutrients and dietary fibre exist. There is no bleaching either and gluten levels are generally lower than in white flour. Wholemeal flour contains much lower levels of high GI carbohydrates than white flour and also higher levels of low GI carbohydrates, which work in the opposite way to high GI carbohydrates, as the low GI carbohydrates contained in wholemeal bread produce the slow release of sugars into the bloodstream. The upshot of this is that insulin is only slowly released into the bloodstream and in far lower amounts. The metabolism is stimulated rather than inhibited, meaning that your digestive system gets a boost in efficiency and less fat gets stored."
Bread that has whole wheat in it. It tastes yummy! :)
The white bread can be healthier, usually if it is only white-wheat, though. Wheat (brown bread) is healthier than just plain white bread because it had vitamins, calcium, and nutrients.
White bread but that is my opinion! (Wholemeal is healthier though!)
Wholemeal bread is wholegrain bread.
I
its healthier for you
White bread is generally less expensive than whole wheat bread.
Spinach wheat bread
The question cannot be answered, because white french bread is wheat bread. Any bread made with wheat flour is wheat bread. You might intend to ask about whole wheat or whole grain bread, which is made with part or all whole grain flour.
whole wheat or white bread im trying to do my science fair project and i looked up that it can be whole wheat or white bread
White bread is made from wheat flour that has been processed to remove the bran and germ - thereby making it white. Whole wheat bread has been made with whole wheat flour - four that has been processed from the intact grain. Whole wheat bread will naturally contain more fiber. There are some recent varieties of wheat that produce a whiter flour. You can find them on the grocery shelf labeled as "white whole wheat".
Whole grain (brown) bread is better than white (refined) bread nutritionally. Whole grain bread, which is typically made with wheat, rye, or oat flour, retains the entire grain when producing the bread. Whole grains are very good for you. White bread contains refined flour, typically refined wheat flour, which is not whole grain.
The answer depends on what is meant by seeds. All wheat bread, both white and whole wheat, is made with the seeds of the wheat plant which are ground into flour. White bread is made with flour ground from seeds that have had the outer husk (bran) and germ removed. Whole wheat bread includes the bran and germ in the flour. Other types of bread have different sorts of whole or cracked seeds added to the dough, but these breads would be identified as such. Examples include Cracked Whole Wheat bread, Poppy Seed bread, Rye bread with Caraway Seeds, or Whole Wheat Sunflower Seed bread.
White bread does because with the wheat bread you can never tell if it is toasted or not
They are both made from wheat and would contain gluten.
