In the vast majority of cases - no. I work in the insurance industry and I have never seen an instance where an employer's health plan included siblings or, for that matter, parents in the definition of qualified dependent.
With that said, what extraoccupational research I have done indicates that there are plans out there (often at the discretion of the employer or specific insurer) that permit such enrollments.
I would contact your carrier to be doubly sure.
Thanks.
no
I think if a wife loses her health insurance, she should not have to force her husband to add her to his policy, the husband should have added her from the beginning, cost or no cost.
Cancel the forced insurance policy and add terms and conditions to your homeowner policy.
Yes, you can add your grandson to your car insurance policy. Speak to your insurance broker.
As long as you are a legal guardian then he should be able to be added.
how do you add spouse to your blue cross blue shield health insurance
yes ,you can add driver's name in your insurance policy.
If you purchase your own health insurance plan, I think you can add anyone to it that you like. If you mean the health insurance from your job, it varies a lot from state to state. Some states have "domestic partnerships" that would allow you to add your girlfriend to the policy. You usually have to prove that you are in a "spousal relationship" - shared bills, etc. i
It really depends on what your insurance policy is.
Add her to your policy, but make her understand this is to help her out, and if she behaves irresponsibly, she on her own for insurance coverage .
Only if he as a multiple driver policy. If not, then no, you would not be covered in the event of an accident. He could add you to his policy- just call the insurance company with the details. Not unless she is listed as atleast an occasional operator on his insurance policy.
Actually Yes he can. If there is no court order to the contrary you can add and remove anyone you want from your own insurance policy.
