yes, they have the right to arrest anyone that has any connection to the alleged person, with a warrant from court. but if you didnt do anything wrong you shouldn't be worried.
Yes they can search it
A search warrant is NOT necessarily an arrest warrant. If some other violation comes to light during the search that supports your arrest, yes, you could be arrested, even if nothing was found during the search.
When he has a warrant, when you get arrested and if you give them permission to search you
An arrest warrant must name or specifically describe the person(s) to be arrested.
If they were arrested as a result of a search warrant being executed - it all depends on what the search warrant was for (what crime/offense) and whether the evidence being searched for was found (I'm assuming it was).
if that person gives them consent they can.
My cousin committed some small crimes awhile back and got away. He thinks there's a warrant out for his arrest. Is there a way to do a free warrant search online somewhere to see if he could potentially be arrested?
It could be one. There are search warrants and arrest warrants. If you have a search warrant, the police are entitled to search your property. After executing the search warrant, if the police establish probable cause to believe that you committed a crime, they can arrest you. If you have an arrest warrant, it is only a matter of time before the police find you and execute the arrest warrant.
A search warrant is a document signed by a judge that allows the police to conduct a search of a property or person. Arrests are made based on evidence discovered during the search. Who gets arrested depends on who owns the property being searched, the item being searched, what type of evidence is discovered, and other factors.
A search warrant is a form of court order. You are obligated to permit the search and cooperate with the law enforcement officers serving the warrant. If you resist them, you will probably be arrested. You can later go to court and challenge the affidavit that was filed with the court when the search warrant was obtained. If your challenge is successful, it's likely that any evidence seized in the search will be suppressed.
1. Is it legal to search a home with a warrant? YES 2. Can a person be arrested if a weapon is found? YES, if the circumstances warrant it. If the person arrested didn't have the legal right to own or possess a firearm he can be arrested incidental to the search warrant. No matter if a person is otherwise the legal owner of a weapon (firearm), if drugs are found then the person does not have the legal right to own or possess the firearm: drugs and weapons DON'T MIX, even if the weapon owner has a concealed firearms permit or otherwise legally owns the firearm. 3. Informant has been arrested several times? RED HERRING!
Unless the arrest warrant specifically states that the issuing agency will extradite then you can not be arrested for it.
