∙ 12y agoSee the drop-down list with your name on it at the top-right of the homepage? Click on that so you get the list that says "channel, videos, subscriptions", etc. Click on 'settings'.
Now, there should be a list of blue words on the left side of this page that says "overview, profile setup, playback setup", etc. At the bottom of this list is a link that says, 'manage account'. Click on it.
On this page, there should be some bold black words, about halfway down, that say 'close account', with a button just below it which says the same thing. Clicking on this will bring up a box requesting that you give a written reason why you're closing it down. After writing this, click on the last 'close account' button to finalize your decision.
