Sure you can. But the real question is "Should you?" Let me answer it like this. If you had a large open sore on your hand, would you put that hand in a bowl full of alcohol and leave it there for an hour or two? It would hurt like the dickens, wouldn't it. Then why would you want to do that same thing to your stomach. Wait until the sore is healed up before you soak it in alcohol (rubbing alcohol or drinking alcohol, they will have the same effect).
