Well, sort of. Drinking too much water (and we're talking buckets here) will eventually thin out the blood to the point where you'll get really sick. It might even lead to liquid collecting in your lungs, which I suppose could be considered drowning.
NO!
Drowning happens in the lungs, swallowing water happens in your stomach, dry drowning sounds like some "old wives tale"
Drinking too much water can lead to a condition known as water intoxication and to a related problem resulting from the dilution of sodium in the body, hyponatremia. You can't drown yourself unless you get too much water in your windpipe, which the human body is designed to avoid. The bladder can only hold so much water before it ruptures however; about 500-700 mL. == ==
It can drown your cells, making them swell
get a gallon of water for yourself and keep track
HAHA i dont think so. Drinking too much water doesn't give you gas but overdoing the water drinking can cause drowning yourself.
umm... im not sure if i understand the question... ill do my best tho.... * you could drown * you could die from drinking too much (look up the woman who died for a wii by drinking the most water without going to the bathroom) * too much could drown the polar-bears and other animals * ummm..... anyone else? ~bella
NO. You would not survive drinking that much water. Drinking a lot of water in a short time destroys the body's chemical balance. Drinking 3 quarts in a day could be dangerous; and five gallons is 20 quarts.
Potentially, if you were to fall in a vat of pudding, and not be able to breathe due to the pudding filling your mouth and nose... Then yes... You could drown in pudding. It would be a bad day for you, but a likely way to make the evening news.
a teaspoon of water
Yes, because you can die of drinking too much water. But this would take more than a gallon of water at least. Chlorine added to the water can cause digestive upsets, but seldom anything life-threatening.
you can drown it if you put too much water
drinking so much that you become dehydrated.
Water. Dehydration can kill you within days - depending on the tempature. Lack of food takes weeks. Sometimes drinking too much water can make you drown.
