If you mean a Master's Degree within the are of medicine, you are right! It is "free" to study in Sweden, however you have to pay for the books you might need. If you start at a school a long way from home you will need to find a place to live and then pay rent, food and other "stuff". Some universities also a necessary fee of about 300 SEK (University of Lund) per semester that goes to the student union and the student "fraternity". To finance these cost there is CSN (a state agency) where you can get a grant of 643 SEK/week and a loan of 1230 SEK/week. Around 7000 SEK per month.
