Ø Assist your parents and the elderly when they are in need. Ø Be friendly and kind to youngsters. Ø Straighten out your life first before you teach others. Ø Have sympathy for the orphans. Ø Help the helplessly widowed. Ø Protect those younger than yourself. Ø Have pity for people's problems. Ø Be happy with other's achievements. Ø Help others in emergency. Ø Save people from danger. Ø View another's attainment as your own. Ø Have compassion for another's loss as your own. Ø Do not make show of other's shortcomings. Ø Do not dazzle people with your advantages. Ø Stop the spread of evil influence and assist the development of good. A lawyer of his day was trying to trap him with words, and this is how Jesus replied. The lawyer asked, "Which is the greatest commandment?" Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your mind and all your strength. That is the greatest commandment. The second is like unto it. Love your neighbor as yourself." Now think about it. If you love God with all your heart etc., you are not going to offend him, disobey him etc. because you want to please him. If you love your neighbor as yourself you will do what pleases your neighbor for the same reasons. It is also true in our personal relationships. If we hurt people as we go through life we will not have friends. If we nurture them and help them we will always have friends.
