There's Hotmail, Yahoo, Aol, Aim, Msn,

And GMail is awesome, no spam, plenty of storage, save and archive emails, access from your cell phone.

If you would get anything I would say get gmail...

If not I have a site for any others you may want...

Some Services may not let you have two accounts at the same time but that doesn't stop you using a different one. That said, most major providers will allow you more than one account,

eg. @Hotmail.com and

@Msn.com

There are many different email address's you can sign up for but the one that I recommend for new email people would be Hotmail because its simple and most commonly used. Other well known ones are Yahoo mail, AOL mail, and Gmail.

Most E-mail providers suggest using a combination of letters and numbers prior to the @ symbol in the E-mail address. It is important to create a hard-to-guess user name. Never use any word that easily connects to you in any way. For example, let's say you visit a forum about dogs and on that forum you tell the name of your dog (it's never good to give any personal information, even a pet's name). If you then used your dog's name in your E-mail address, people could more easily identify that E-mail belongs to you. If you used the dog's name as your password, people who know you could guess the password.

Many E-mail providers suggest using the name of an object, with numbers mixed into the name. Just use a word that would be very hard to randomly guess.

If you choose an E-mail name that someone else is already using through that provider, the provider's software will tell you to choose a different name, because two people cannot share the same E-mail address/account name (unless family and shared with your knowledge and shared by you).
