I knew a friend who read in the dark, and she needed glasses later on. The computer monitor emits a pretty strong light, and if it puts strain on your eyes when you do it in when its light out, then its worse in the dark. Whenever it gets to dark in my room when I'm playing on the computer, I just turn on the lights. Might as well not take the risk!
Yes.
Work using computer in the area where there is improved lighting conditions. The contrast between your monitor screen and the area around you should be minimal.

No. Not unless you wear particularly dark sunglasses that make everything so dim your eyes have to strain, and you do so for long periods of time. Otherwise, have at it. In fact, the right sunglasses, with a light tint, may actually help reduce eye strain from staring at a computer or television or cell phone. Especially if you do so often. These are all light sources and staring at them can put a strain on your eyes almost as much as straining them while reading in the dark.
Well its an opinion because everyone has different eyes.
So it depends who the person is.
if looked at for long time
Not unless you're playing really rough.
Plants react to presence. Having the television or radio on works and so does talking to the plants. I know, sounds kinda crazy... okay, really crazy but the next time you have people over or you are on the telephone, just have the plant around. There is only one plant in particular that I have ever heard anyone mention playing music or talking to and if you are growing the same kind of plant I think you are growing, then yes it does work. I did an experiment years ago and the... ah-hem... plant grows faster and healthier when others interact with it. As with any plant, the more attention you give it, the better it grows. Good luck.

You burn more calories playing on the computer than watching TV. Both burn very few calories, though.
Get glasses that have Antiglare coating on the lenses. It helps reduce eye fatigue.

We use for lots of things in our everyday lives like watching TV, using your laptop or playing a computer game.
Playing video games because you are interacting with your TV
playing psp singin going out watching tv
Watching tv,playing cricket, listning music.....
Well firstly, 7 hours is much too long to be watching TV for and there's nothing wrong with 1 hour of playing on consoles. It also depends on what game your playing.
