Answer Yes, anything is possible. Generally though, when two people meet they feel as if they've known each other forever (labeled as: 'soul mate'.) Women seem to be more tuned in to these sorts of feelings. Remember, just because you feel this way about him doesn't mean he'll return the same favor. 2) dont underestimate our hope for the same. The real question is, if there is, or is not, such a thing. Purhaps and surely is my answer. Love has great power and endurance. Beyond a single life. My interpretation is that we may see and love each other forever again and again. Separate in the river of existance. It's possible. Some people are more in tune with their feelings, emotions, etc. and may not have "static" interference like pressures and responsibilities of work, family or other personal relationships like someone else may have that can cloud or interfere (make confusing) the realization that the person is the soulmate. For example, the woman has chosen, due to personal responsibilities and desires for self improvement (maybe college or something like that), to not be in a relationship for a long period of time. With her career, college, hobbies, friendships or whatever, she meets plenty of guys but no one grabs her attention enough to make her give up what she is trying to achieve and she really has no interest in any of them. She's kind of rocking along, doing her thing, not looking for love a boyfriend a relationship or anything along those lines and along out of the blue, by pure coincidence, she meets this guy, has a fairly brief conversation with him, feels really comfortable with him but kind of strange too. She feels a little bewildered afterwards. She thinks nothing of it at first but has contact with him again over the next several weeks. Then one day while in his presence, she looks up, their eyes meet briefly, she looks away quickly because she feels something incredible like she's never experienced before. She doesn't realize really what has happened but she knows something definitely has. She wonders, wow! What on earth was that?? She has to regain her mental composure but its difficult. She can't seem to think at the moment. She finally after several minutes gains some of her composure and gets back to what she was doing but she feels different. She doesn't know why but she knows it's got something to do with him. She tries to brush it off and shake the feeling. She thinks she's done it. She thinks, this is ridiculous, what is going on? She seems to have temporarily convinced herself that whatever it is, it's silly. That feeling is short lived. She runs into him several times over the next several weeks with her daily responsibilities. Every time she sees him or is in his presence she gets that same feeling but it gets progressively stronger. She starts realizing what is happening and tells herself, no I can't do this, I'm too busy, it's not a good time, he's in a relationship, this can't be happening, this is BS. I'm not doing this. She lost the battle to deny what had happened but she never said anything to anyone except a family member that she is close to and confided in. She didn't believe in soulmates at first but then later realized that is what had happened. He had responsibilities far more involved than hers, he was in a relationship, and much more to consider than she did. I think he was drawn to her but he had even less free time than she did, tremendous responsibilities , and was in a relationship with someone for a long time. He had a lot of "static" in his life and wouldn't have been able to clearly see what was happening at first. Then, they didn't see each other for a long time. A few months after meeting him, she knew without any doubt that he was her true love, her soulmate. She had never, ever felt like that before. She accepted it and tried her best to move forward without him. I think she told him the last time she talked to him how she felt. I don't think they have talked since then. She thinks that he still thinks of her even though they haven't seen each other for a while now. She knows in her heart and soul that she's right. He's been totally consumed with his life and responsibilities and doesn't have much "mental room" where he can think about something like that. But thoughts of her keep creeping back in his mind. He can't seem to shake it and wishes it would go away just like she did in the beginning. She says she has accepted the fact that they may never be together and that if the time ever comes where she feels like she can date someone, she will. If not, she accepts that too. I guess it must be like the widow whose love (husband) of many years has passed away and she can't even relate to seeing someone else or dating again.
