Now I'm 22 and 15 weeks' pregnant with my first babe. I've never had the discharge since they treated the tumor. Don't worry (I could be wrong!) but ask your OB/Gyn about it; he or she can check your blood for the levels or get you a painless MRI (similar to Cat scan). Squeezing your breast causes it to keep producing more, so try not to.
Please clarify. Have you been nursing for six months and just stopped, or did you stop 6 months ago? Either way I don't think it is a sign of pregnancy. Many women leak milk for years after stopping breast-feeding, especially when washing their breasts in a hot bath/shower or during love-making.
Commonly, yes, lactation is a sign that a woman is pregnant. She begins to lactate because of the hormonal changes taking place.
People may also lactate upon arousal. Non-cancerous pituitary tumors can cause lactation, as well.
You can I did but its called Colostrum and you will have that about 1-2 weeks after the babys born .
yes
Breast milk or lactation is caused by pregnancy hormones and nursing.
You can begin to notice breast changes as early as two weeks into your pregnancy. It won't be until much later in your pregnancy though that you will begin to notice your breasts "swelling" due to breast milk. It really varies upon when you will notice breast swelling in the beginning of pregnancy though.
because it likes you and thinks you might enjoy its precious breast milk
Actually, I used to believe that, but no. You don't get a rash. You may have some pain in your breast for producing breast milk. However, you don't get any symptoms on your face.
Breast pads are used by lactating woman because after childbirth breast milk tends to sometimes leak out. These are place in a bra and absorb the breast milk.
It is most likely colostrom.... yes, it can happan... depending on your pregnancy... my second pregnancy I leaked colostrom from about 20 weeks on.... It is just a sign your body is getting prepared to nourish your baby :) Yes it is possible to experience leaky breasts during this time. It isn't actually breast milk but is called Colostrum. It does look very similar to breast milk though. Your breast milk will come on once you have given birth to your baby. Congratulations.
For babies? Sure it is, as long as the milk doesn't pick up any bacteria as it trickles down some surfaces. But if you lay on your back, then the milk won't leak/won't leak as much. Good luck! Besides, the babies, during pregnancy, are inside your body, so the milk won't affect them. But for you? Sure it's safe to drink.
It is common to have breast milk leak. It can leak during any point in your pregnancy, but is more common in the end. I was 36 weeks with my first daughter and got my milk in, I also lost my mucos plug. Most sites I found said not to worry as well as my midwife. But my daughter was on her way and I was in labor a few hours later. Just depends.
W/o the hormonal change related to the pregnancy there won't be any milk.
No it does not reduce the milk at all.
It can be, but its not always the reason for it.
