A primers is basically used to seal a surface and give the top coat "tooth". A primer should be chosen for the surface it is going on, oil based primers adhere better to surfaces like bare wood, slick finishes, and old oil based paint. Once the primer has dried any kind or paint may be applied as a top coat.
The question is unclear. There are three types of paint by base: oil, water, and epoxy. None of the three can be mixed. Rather, one can mix the any two or three of them, but the result would be unusable for painting.
If the enamel is also latex than you can. If it is oil based, then no. Latex paint is pretty much all the same. The sheen and durability will change depending on what you mix together, but it should blend.
Yes you can. As long as the enamel is a latex, or water base also. The only thing enamel stands for is the hardness of the paint after it has cured. Enamel is very hard making it the most durable for bathrooms, woodwork, kitchens. It can be either oil based or water based (latex stands for water based paint).
Enamel paint can only be mixed with latex paint if the latex paint also has enamel in it. If the latex paint is oil based then it can not be mixed with enamel paint.
Yes, you can.
can i mix latex with enamel paint?I'm going to try it because of the definitions below. found at http://www.ehow.com/about_5104253_latex-enamel-paint.htmlLatex PaintLatex is, simply put, rubber. Whether natural or man-made, latex is the term used to refer to it. Latex paint is paint made with rubber mixed in as the binding agent which, when dry, holds the paint together.Enamel PaintThe term enamel when used to describe paint refers to any kind of paint that is hard and glossy once it has dried. The easiest way to think of this is to think of the enamel that's found on the outermost layer of human teeth.CombinationWhen these two attributes are combined, latex enamel paint brings the best of both worlds to the home. The latex bonding in the paint means that paint will dry quicker, is easy to use, and lacks much of the odor associated with older styles of paint. The enamel quality means that the paint will be hard, able to be scrubbed clean and will boast a shiny gloss.
I do not know the answer that is why I am asking answer it.
Yes, since both are water based paints you can mix the to together.
No you can not.
Yes you can. Substitute 20% of the water for the cement mix with latex paint (Water based paint) and mix slow and thorough. Don't over used too much paint it will damage the integrity of the concrete.

No. Behr makes "100 percent acrylic" paint. As far as I can remember there's no latex at all in it. It's a waterbased coating that applies and cleans up like latex, but holds up better. It does NOT contain any alkyd.
