Yes, a flip phone can typically take pictures. However, it totallydepends on the manufacturer and brand of the flip phone.
Most likely the problem is you memory card. Try taking it out and reinserting it, if that doesn't work you might need a new one. Maybe check to see if it works in another device, if it does the problem is with your camera.

Well, the iPod Nano is the only iPod with a video camera, and no iPod can take still pictures. Since no iPod can take still pictures, it can only take a picture of its screen. You really don't have a problem, its that the iPod can only take still pictures of your screen and not you.
you can't take pictures on the flip. I have one :) Still a great purchase to make though.

If it is a digital recording device, you may have increased the compression of the recording, higher compression means lower memory usage, lower compression means higher memory usage. Perhaps someone that used your camera changed some preferences. Try to find a "Menu" button and find a "reset" optio…n which in most cases will reset the preferences on one's camera to factory specifications. Perhaps if your camera uses a Secure Digital (SD) card maybe there is leftover data on the SD card so that the camera acts as if there is less memory on the card (which in that case, there would be). A digital camera with a video feature. Keyword, feature. Since it's just a feature, don't expect video camera capabilities on the still camera. Be warned. Sound is a separate feature. It doesn't mean that if the camera does video, it automatically records sound too.

Your flip camera has a USB plug on the "flip" part. If you can't figure this out, then take it back to the shop & ask them for a film camera as you may be better qualified to use that one.
Yes you can, but try to stay still a bit and make sure you are not moving, that way it will take pictures best.

It all depends on your goals, the kind of pictures you want to take, and the camera traits you want. And of course, on the amount you are willing to spend. You could go to a search engine and search for 'camera trait search' and go from there. I would suggest reading quickly through buyers guides,… which might help you decide: 1. How much to spend, 2. the category of camera you want- point & shoot, DSLR, mirrorless, and 3. more about the type of use and how often you would use it. Will you want to carry it where you go? Then you need a light camera. And so on. (MORE)
