Not Exactly, If you just put a blue ray disk into your Xbox it won't work but it is possible to play blue ray content on your Xbox just follow this guide:

∙ 11y agoNo. Blu-ray Players will only work on HDTVs and they require an HDMI cable. Xbox 360 is not HD-compatible. But the PlayStation 3 can play Blu-Rays, for the games are in fact on Blu-Ray discs and they too, like Blu-Ray players, will only work on HDTVs and they require an HDMI cable as well
