Yes, with custom mounts available online. You will need the complete swap.
Yes you can I have 1988 Honda prelude with the 2.0L in it.
why the fu*k would you want to....it has 110hp!?!?!?!?!? Thank you someone with a brain, if you want power get a B16A2 or type R.
Honda civics engines and trannys are interchangeable. you could even put an acura integra motor into a Honda civic. the only one you may have a little trouble with is the prelude motor. from what ive learned, as long as there both the 4 cylinder, then they have the same motor mounts. so, you could swap your 90 motor with a 2000 k-20 from a Honda civic si. which the only thing is i think the shift linkage, because its a 6speed. yes, it interchanges. but you got a lot more options than that.
Why do you want to put an OBD0 distributor in a OBD1 motor?
Yes. If it has the same type of motor as from the car you got the transmission from.
No. EK chassis Civics utilize D and B family engines. 4th Gen Preludes utilize F and H family engines. While it is possible (although difficult) to put a Prelude engine in a Civic, there is both no straightforward method and no logical reason to put a Civic engine in a Prelude.
If it is a Honda engine then yes you can. It sounds like your talking about an H-22 out of a Prelude. Look for Hasport motor mounts, I'm fairly certain they make some. You will have to grind your old motor mounts out, drill through your frame, and bolt in the new mounts.
Yes, any Honda Civic motor from those years will work with little to no modification, same with any Acura Integra motors. That's what makes hondas so great.
How do you replace the fuel pump Honda prelude 1992
yes.. u can can even put in a 1.7 or 2.0 liter in there.
i wouldn't swap it, the 87 is carbureated and the prelude is fuel injected, just put the same engine in. the 87 accord engine has less hp .
motor is the same, transmission is diffrent... you need just the motor or you get a manual body but auto swap?
