I often freeze loaves of bread after buying them on sale at the store. I've never had a problem with it
I think it is probably not ok to refreeze bread or any food. With frozen bread it is possible to pull off a few slices to use then put the loaf back in the freezer.
Yes, place bread in the freezer in the original package. When ready to thaw remove and allow to thaw naturally. I suggest placing in a cool dry place (not in the refrigerator). I do this frequently with bread. I always like leaving my potato bread in the freezer and toasting the slices in a toaster directly out of the freezer.
Yes. Bread can be refrozen, though the quality will likely deteriorate - dry out and become more crumbly.
It's safe, and I do it all the time. I don't leave it out for too long, though, and I use up the loaf in 10-14 days.
cheese should never be frozen in the first place, it will lose all the taste, but to refreeze is not a good idea
You should never re-freeze anything!
Actually, you can refreeze bread. It wouldn't be a food safety issue, but it will have a reduction in quality.
You probably could, and eat it without dying. But, the quality of bread suffers with even one freezing. I can't imagine using it for anything except stuffing after it's frozen twice.
yes
Yes
Yes, provided the ham has been thoroughly cooked.
All meat can be defrosted and then refrozen. It is safe to eat, but will not be as tasty and juicy if meat had not been frozen. This is not a safety issue but a culinary one.
It was too warm for the ice to refreeze. One the meat had thawed, they did not think it would be safe to refreeze it.
can i refreeze mushrooms/
I would not do that.
In my opinion, i believe yes, i have done this several times.we can defrost it if we want small piece of it .and keep the rest of pieces.Because when anything is frozen no external heat is mixed....
Once a meat has become frozen you should not allow it to defrost and then attempt to refreeze it. If you allow it to defrost and then use it by its use by date then that is OK. You can however refreeze it once cooked for example if you buy some fresh mince it becomes frozen in transit, you then defrost it and make a shepherds pie you can then freeze it and defrost it at a later date when ready to eat. If you meant to chill the meat but it just got a little too cold just defrost it before using.
No, it is not safe to refreeze any meat, including raw pheasant. You can cook it and then freeze it, though.
Wieners can be frozen for a few months because freezing food prevents the growth of bacteria more than when you just refrigerate foods. Take what you need out of the freezer and either defrost in the microwave (or however you cook them) or in the fridge.
yh i think so
Yes. Pumpkin puree can be frozen.
The instructions specifically said not to refreeze the food.We have decided to refreeze you, we do not believe you have showed enough remorse to be allowed back into society.
