If you don't have cable TV or satellite TV just network tv using bunny ears antenna can you use a DVR to record shows for eg on PBS?
Answer Try hooking up the bunny ears terminal to the DVR and then the DVR to where the bunny ears connect to at the tv. Set your tv to channel three or four for recept…ion. If you get reception, you should be able to record.
Tivo is when you can fast-forward, rewind, and even pause live television. I believe you can get it with any cable company.
I just approached this problem, I connected the antenna into the Insignia, an from the Insignia to the Tivo (Series 2), then from the Tivo into the TV. This way I watch …Tivo and use the Insignia channels when I change to (Tivo) channel 3. Perhaps not a perfect solution but gives me both of their full capabilites.
Tivo shows can't not be played on iPod only they are converted to be MP4 format. So, you need a tool to help your to convert the Tivo video to MP4

no unless you sell it
All antennas are the same as far as receiving a signal. There are some antennas built for converter boxes that have a rotor (to better aim the antenna) and built in amplifier …to boost the signal coming down the coax cable (something I strongly recommend) and use a special cable to connect to the converter box.
yes, but you have to go through entire setup again while TIVO is hooked up to the internet to download FIOS programming info.
Yes, you can use TiVo on DirecTV systems.
Basically, yes, TiVo is a type of DVr recorder. It allows you to record shows while you are not home or simply watching another channel on the same set; just as a dvr recorder….
I have a 2008 Toshiba SD-H400 digital recorder made for TIVO which worked with cable input But now no signal when I attach to my digital antenna Any solution maybe a digiital to cable converter?
If the DVR has a tuner, you might have to switch it to antenna from cable. If it has no tuner you might need a converter box.
The TiVo digital video recorder was first sold in the United States in 1999. Since then, it has become available in the United Kingdom and other places worldwide.
Yes. A tuner is required to record from more than one channel.
Comcast TiVo is used to record television programs. You can also be watching live television and be able to run the program back in case you missed something or wanted to see… it again.
