no you cannot use protools without an interface as a matter of fact you cant use it with just any interface either it must be a protools compatible interface and the software must be compatible with the interface.
He uses ProTools and Celemony Melodyne.
Use a recording interface
as far as i know... you need to buy pod farm 2.5 upgrade to use with any audio interface. i believe the upgrade costs $99
Most people nowadays use a computer and one or more of the following programs: Ableton, FL Studio, Reason, Reaper, Protools, Cubase, Logic, Sound Forge...
For Mac users, Garageband is an astonishingly powerful piece of software that comes... free of charge. For PCs, apps like Audacity will record you singing with your guitar, but won't make multi-track recordings. Digidesign may still offer a free, demo version of ProTools. Check it out.
Yes, you can use any USB MIDI Interface with ProTools. Note that ProTools SE and M-Powered require an apporved M-Audio interface to be attached to run the program.
Yes, although you will need an M-Audio interface connected to the computer in order to launch ProTools MPowered, or an Avid audio interface connected if you plan to run ProTools LE versions 8 or earlier.
No,This cannot be done,You must have some digidesign, M-audio hardware or compatible control interface for pro tools to work
Yes for Logic. Pro Tools requires its own interface
He uses ProTools and Celemony Melodyne.
He used Protools but moved to Pro Logic 9 :) Its better for his workflow
yes of cause interface is use in java at the place of multiple inheritance .o as like multiple inheritance u can extends interface class to other. and another think is interface contain abstract method i.e method with no defination so u can use it without any error.
To expose an interface to the class members. Without an interface of some kind, an object would be useless.
As far as I know from using protools and audacity the answer is no. You can import each individual aif file into protools but the plug in effects will not be included from protools to audacity when you import to audacity.

There are many audio editing softwares. The most known nowadays are ProTools, Logic, Ableton Live, Audacity, Garage Band, and Nuendo. Some are more designed for professional use. I personally prefer ProTools and Logic.
If you could create a new question with the specific interface it would be more helpful. Make sure in audio preferences that your interface is selected as the output, remember not all interfaces are compatible with protools. I don't know if this is a midi issue, or an actual sound output issue. This is also something that has plagued me at times throughout the years and I know it can be frustrating.
