Can you use Verizon sim card and put it in a t mobile phone and have the phone work for Verizon?

TMobile and Verizon are incompatible. As are every other two separate phone services.
The only way to use a TMobile sim card in a Verizon phone, is to get the Verizon "unlocked". You can do this at most mobile phone shops, but not all of them and most likely not an official Verizon or TMobile shop.
This will cost you.

∙ 15y agoVerizon normally uses technology called CDMA, which does not use a SIM card. Whereas T-Mobile uses GSM network which uses sim card . So you can't use a T mobile phone with Verizon.

unfortunatly not. Because Verizon uses a CDMA network and T-Mobile uses a GSM network the two are not compatible. This is due to T-mobile having the need for sim cards where as Verizon simply does not. because of this there is no place in the back of a Verizon phone where you can put a sim card

I'd recommend you call Boost Mobile customer service on this one. When I tried doing it in 2010, you could not transfer a Boost Mobile phone number to another carrier (and, just like you, I tried transferring it to Verizon) - you couldn't even transfer a Boost Mobile number to Nextel (Boost Mobile basically was a prepaid Nextel). Things might have changed, now that Nextel has been eliminated and fully folded into Sprint, although I'm doubtful.
