Wine vinegar may burn or leave an odd taste; white vinegar is the only vinegar that can also be used for cleaning.
Vinegar is a very mild acid, if your coffee pot has a build up of calcium, Yes it will clean it. It certainly can not hurt to try. But be careful if you have granite counter tops!!!!
No use Regular Vinegar & the other stuff will ruin it.
Both the vinegars are acidic and therefore can be used for cleaning a coffee pot made from porcelain/glass but a metal coffee pot may cause mild reaction with constant cleaning with vinegar.
Yes, the vinegar is a weak acid. But the pot will need a couple of soapy washes to remove any lingering vinegary smell. A weak solution of household bleach is what I use.
Red wine vinegar is for cooking/eating while white isn't. There also may be residue with the red wine that you won't get with the white.

Yes, it is the same thing. Distilled white vinegar is the lowest grade of vinegars. It is made from the dregs of other vinegars. Distilled white vinegar is commmonly used in salad dressings and for pickling because it is clear and does not add any color to the recipe that you are making.
Yes, depending on how discriminating your tastes are. White vinegar is a highly refined product and is good on fish and chips. White wine vinegar still has the flavour of the wine in it and will add more flavour to the raspberry vinegar. If it's just acidity you're after, white vinegar will be fine.
The best cleaning formula is just plain white vinegar and water.
