You can use the EBT card anywhere it is accepted regardless of what state issued it. I was a contact driver, driving all over the US and still didn't make enough to get off assistance so I used my EBT everywhere.

Do the stores in other states ACCEPT them?...No. If you're really in a bind and have no other way to get food in another state, then I suggest not telling the cashier that your food stamps are from another state. Alot of cashiers told me it wouldn't even go through, but it actually does. I did it for 6 months when I went from Arizona to Illinois (until I received them in Illinois). But I used my out-of-state card everywhere including Walgreens, Walmart, corner stores.

You will see if they accept it because they will have posted a decal on the location door saying they accept SNAP benefits since each state will vary by how they term the way their food stamp cards are addressed. For example if you live in IL we call our food stamp cards LINK. So if you have questions about if your food stamp card will be accepted call the individual location and ask if SNAP benefits can be used there. Just about every Walgreens accepts SNAP benefits.
