Under normal circumstances this will burn and damage the root system of the plant, possibly severely enough to kill it.
Some plants are more tolerant though to hot water and can survive fairly high water temperatures
Yes you can, but it can affect the plant growth, because imagine that you water the plant with Sprite, then the sugar in that will surely kill the plant. But then again water or rain is the best way to water a plant.
No it could burn the plant's roots, which would kill the plant. I do not think it is a good idea. Please do not try. SAVE THE PLANTS!

Also, cold water isn't good for the plants either. NEVER put ice in with your plant.
The best you can give them is room-temperature, or even (ever so slightly) cool water (on hot days). Think what temperature you can comfortably drink; same goes with the plant.

I think the question relates more to slightly heated water than boiling water. Boiling water would simply scald the plant, burn the roots and kill the plant - this method is sometimes employed to kill weeds (in small areas).
Boiled water that is then cooled has lower levels of oxygen in it (due to the boiling), as this is one way in which oxygen is introduced into the soil and ultimately the plant, it could have slight negative effects on sustained plant growth.
Slightly warmed water can be beneficial as long as it is under 30 degrees Centigrade. Warmed water is sometimes used in cooler climates to speed the growth of plants during winter.
if hot enough over 70 degrees it has a damaging effect on the roots I killerd the grass with water heater draining
no because plants need cold water to drink and cool off.hot water will kill it because the heet will distroy the plant cell and roots.
Mint plants grow better in fresh water!
well plants grow better in regular water but if they get any water they will still grow
No minerals in the water will be remove when it is boiled.
The hypothesis of an experiment is what you think the results will turn out to be eg: Q: What water is better for plants, tap water, microwaved water, or distilled water? H: I hypothesise that distilled water will be better for plants because... hope this helps
distilled If you are growing houseplants in soil, using distilled water will prevent the accumulation of calcium and other salts in the soil. However, if growing plant cuttings in water, tap water will work better.
Magma-heated rock.
sunlight
Yes. Water waters plants better.
its better to water ur plants at the roots.
All a microwave does is send microwaves through objects and speed up the molecules. The reason the plants died is because the water was hot.
Yes, hot water or boiling water will kill or damage plant tissue and could result in death, even if this is applied to the soil. Once the boiled (or heated) water has cooled it can be used to water the plants with no side effects

The water for geothermal power plants is heated by pumping it down underground where is comes in contact with hot rocks. It then comes up a second shaft as steam. This steam is used to spin electricity turbines, producing electricity.

tap water is not that good because of chlorine. So low mineral water in bottles is better for them the chlorine might not be that good for plants, but plants do need the minerals in tap water.
yes usually when plants are given warm water the grow better and comparatively faster
