Things you should check for are * Pubic Hair underneath your arm pits, legs, and 'down south' * Vaginal discharge (usually clear or milky white) * breast development * moodiness The average age for a girl to get their first is about 12 years old, although every womans body works at a different pace. If you think you are going to get your period, start carrying around a pad or tampon, just in case you are out and make sure you have lots and lots of chocolate when you do get your period, or YOU WILL BE SORRY! P.S.-- Backaches may be the start of you entering puberty, since women gain hips and womanly curves.
