Cultural perspective is taking on the position that examines the identities, values, norms, and habits that member of a group develops as a team and the creation/existence of subcultures.

  • Identity: this area examines the processes and activities that members take part in; it is a factor in the development of a shared identity
  • Values, norms and habits: this includes typical behaviors of members in any interaction (casual, formal, informal, etc) (also referred to as norms). It also includes maintenance of the norms and values through repetition for example and the relationship roles that ensuring norms are followed and inclusivity is promoted.
  • Subcultures: are subgroups that develop distinctive patterns different from the overriding culture.
