If your dash lights and radio are flashing on and off on your 2003 Ford Windstar, you have an electrical problem that needs fixed. You can start by removing the dash and ensuring all wires are properly secured.
Fem (front electrical module needs flashed) located just behind interior fuse box. NOTE: there is a second module located in behind jack pass side cargo area. This module is SPECIFIC to your vehicle and is not replaceable w/o programming as they are linked to security and immobilizer.
Yes, under the dash
no tail lights no dash lights no radio
lights flashing on an a/c control head usually indicate a pressure problem in the .c system. possibly low on freon
Check for blown fuse--same circuit
the fuse is blown.
the dash and radio lights are supposed to dim when the headlights come on. Make sure you have the brightness of the dash lights turned up as much as possible.
turn the knob on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash. It will brighten the dash, and radio lights by turning it to the right and it will dim the lights by turning it to the left.
To locate the dash lights fuse on a 1999 Honda Accord to find out if it is causing the dash lights do not work when you have the parking lights on after installing an after-market radio, check the owner's manual. You can also find a fuse diagram at most auto part stores.
my dimmer light in the dash keeps flashing even when the lights are not turned on
did you ever figure out your dash cluster lights. Same thing happened to me. New battery no dash lights? Thanks Russ thecorvetteguy@yahoo.com
You need to check to fuse box.
check the fuse on the wires on your radio, there is a separate wire for the display lights that should be wired to your dash lights
