Hampstead Station, on the Northern Line, is 192 feet below the street level. Note, however, that Hampstead is on a very steep hill, and so the absolute depth isn't that great. The Jubilee Line runs at the deepest absolute point, 105 feet below mean sea level.
Hampstead Heath
that is correct as Hampstead tube station is on a hill and the station platform is 192 feet below street level as drilling made it easier that way. The deepest tube excavation ( not drilled using a tunnel boring machine but using conventional digging methods) is Westminster Tube station. For the Jubilee line extension an excavation of 127 feet was made to accommodate lifts, escalators etc.
The deepest station ever built was North End aka The Old Bull and Bush after the old music hall song about the pub which was close by. It was 230ft at it's lowest level. However, the station was never completed after objections by the locals, but can still be seen by eagle eyed travellers on if you're fast enough. It's located between Golders Green and Hampstead Stations on the Edgeware Branch of the Northern Line.
This depends on your definition of 'deepest'.
The deepest station counted from the street above is Hampstead Station, on the Northern Line. It is 192 feet under the street. However, Hampstead is located on top of a hill, making the ABSOLUTE depth much less.
The absolutely deepest station is Westminster Station, which connects three different lines. The platform for the Jubilee Line, which is the deepest line in general, is located 105 feet below mean sea level.
