The three reasons why the atmosphere is important is that the atmosphere traps heat from the sun, that way it keeps us warm and the ocean from freezing up. Also is important because it helps you from deadly rays from the sun like UV rays. Lastly it is it important because it helps you breath by giving Oxygen to us, then us letting put Carbon Dioxide to the plants and trees, and the plants give us Oxygen!!!! Its the Circle of Life!
