Since God made 'heaven and earth and all that in them is,' then it would certainly include the dinosaurs. According to a straightforward reading of Genesis 1, most of these would have been created on day 6, although it would appear that the flying reptiles may have been created on day 5.

also Genesis 1 :

24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground." As has already been explained in the previous answers, we still have no knowledge why he created them. The fact that they did exist has been proved. How long the earth has been in existence we do not know, six days, six thousand years or millions of years. That they existed before Adam can be excepted as a fact. The fact that we must also excepted is that God was the organisor of all things.

God certainly created both man and the dinosaurs. The difference is that dinosaurs were not named as such until over 2000 years after the parts of The Bible that mention them were written. Other words which many believe are different species of dinosaur are used such as Behemoth and Leviathan.

The first two verses of Genesis 1 and a little-known verse in Isaiah 45 reveals it... together with the cumulative account of Satan's rebellion.

Most people accept verse two of Genesis 1 as supposedly saying that God "created the earth IMPERFECTLY":

"And the earth was without form, and void..." (Gen.1:1 KJV).

[Literal Bible LIT]: "...and the earth was without form [tohuw: to lie waste; a desolation (of the surface), i.e. desert; figuratively, a worthless thing; adverbially, in vain..."] and empty [bohuw: a vacuity... an undistinguishable ruin...]..." (LITwith Strong's Definitions)

It doesn't occur to most people who read the Bible, causually, the true meaning of verse 2. To accept that God made the earth a "worthless, vaccuous, undistinguishable ruin" and then had to come back later to redo the mess He made in the beginning, is to accept that GOD IS IMPERFECT!

So, [IF the Bible is TRUE as Jesus tells us - John 17:17]... then, either God is imperfect... or... something happened between verses one and two that CAUSED the destruction of the earth. There is no "time frame" mentioned in the first two verses of Genesis 1... until verse 3... so any number of eons could have elapsed between the original creation of the universe and when the earth became wasted.

The Bible does reveal, however, that God didn't create the earth a wasted ruin, as the King James Version seems to portray it in Genesis 2. Isaiah 45:18 says:

"...God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it NOT inVAIN [Literal Bible: same inspired word as Genesis 2 -- TOHUW]..." (Isa.45:18 KJV).

God did NOT create it that way. It BECAME THAT WAY SOMETIME LATER.

The vast oil reserves below ground around the globe that lubricate our modern world are the results of large concentrates of "herds of LIVING dinosaurs" and other creatures being swallowed up "suddenly," intact... before they could die naturally and suffer decomposition. In some sort of cataclysmic, catastrophic event, the earth opened up and swallowed them... or huge tidal waves of; molten rock, mud, sand, vegetation, liquid, or who knows what combination of terrestrial matter, together with tectonic occurrences SWALLOWED THEM ALIVE -- and COOKED THEM for who knows how long beneath the surface of the earth.

Was it, perhaps, the result of a "war in heaven?" Like "an army of angels being cast down to earth from heaven?"

Was Jesus Christ, the Creator God of the Old Testament [John 1:3] telling the Truth and "mean what He said" when He stated: "...I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven" (Luke 10:30)?

The study goes deeper with more details forthcoming in God's Word regarding the Truth of the account. But, the biblical evidence points to the dinosaurs existing on the "originally and PERFECTLY created earth"... when the universe was first made -- which was who knows how long before man was made; when "...the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters..." [Gen.1:2]. Waters that were covering the, by then, "ruined, wasted" earth.

Ruined and wasted from the destructive forces of the laws of nature utilized by powerful spirit beings, released during that ancient "war in heaven."

The biblical account certainly records no such "casting down to the earth" of Satan and his army of angels AFTER man was made. Adam and Eve awoke to PARADISE... not waste and ruin! And "...that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan..." (Rev.12:9] was ALREADY the Devil and already on the earth [already cast down]... waiting to introduce himself to the first two members of God's future Family.

There were no dinosaurs when God made man... because Noah would have transported them across the flood with all the other creatures God made in the "six-day refurbishing of the earth." [if the ark could have held such monstrosities as some of the fossils reveal.]

The dinosaurs were beneath the surface of the re-made earth... beneath the feet of Adam and Eve... cooking and stewing in the extreme pressure and heat of the earth; becoming the vast oil reserves that would one day run the world that the future generations of their children would create under the invisible mis-guiding hand of the god they worship.

If God made man and created the earth, then presumably God also made the dinosaurs. But, if God did not really make man and create the earth, then the dinosaurs evolved, just as man evolved some millions of years after the time of the dinosaurs.

Everything in both the spiritual and physical worlds were made by God via His Word who became our Christ:

John 1:1-4New International Version (NIV)The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

Hebrews 1:1-2New King James Version (NKJV)God's Supreme Revelation

1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

Ephesians 3:9New King James Version (NKJV)
9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

It should be noted here that the Bible does not speak of the original creation -except in Genesis 1:1 - it then continues on with the renewal of the face of the earth and giving the 'lights' of heaven a purpose (Genesis 1:14-16) - the creation of man - Adam & Eve. God does not create 'without form and void' or chaotic and in confusion (see Isaiah 45:18). Indeed, when the original creation happened and the Earth appeared in the midst of the universe, the angels shouted for joy at this beautiful sight (see Job 38:4-7). Something happened requiring God to renew the face of the earth (see Psalm 104:30) in preparation for His highest creative act - creating Adam in His image and likeness and forming Eve out of the man.
