Answer . I have never heard of taking BP meds with food. However some take their medicine in the morning and some in the evening. I take half in the AM and half at night. The key is what is best for you in a 24 hour period? Some BP meds make one tired, so; they take before bed. Also, if you take… a diuretic I would take it early so you do not wake up all night to use the toilet. Ask your MD. (MORE)

One of the hardest thing is trying to understand another culture by the understanding of the language of your own. Does the Koran say Love your brother as thy self. The answer is no, not in those words. However, the Hadith has a similar message. The Hadith is used in Islam to understand the mean…ing other Koran . " No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself. " Sunnah. "Not one of you is a believer until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.". Islam. Forty Hadith of an-Nawawi 13 . Mohammed is said to have said. "Seek for mankind that of which you are desirous for yourself, that you may be a believer; treat well as a neighbor the one who lives near you, that you may be a Muslim [one who submits to God].". and. "That which you want for yourself, seek for mankind.". Sukhanan-i-Muhammad (Teheran, 1938) [English Title: Conversations of Muhammad] Wattles (192) Rost (100) Donaldson Dwight M. 1963. Studies in Muslim Ethics, p.82. London: S.P.C.K. I am not a Muslim. Yet, I believe most Muslims would say that unless you can love you cannot possibly be a Muslim. However, like every religion including Christianity there are those who will interpret things there way. Some see Jihad a physical war rather than a spiritual war within ones self to submit to the rule of ALLAH. . If you look at Christian history you will be shocked at the incredible cruelty and bloodshed it has caused in what is said to have been in the name of Jesus. . Yet, Like you I would say that one cannot be a real Christian if you cannot love. In this we share with the Muslims. (Peace be unto Both). Pete (MORE)

I don't know an exact medicine, but there are some obvious remedies such as resting, keeping a light diet and staying hydrated.
Hippocrates and his followers were first to describe many diseases and medical conditions. He is given credit for the first description of clubbing of the fingers, an important diagnostic sign in chronic suppurative lung disease, lung cancer and cyanotic heart disease. For this reason, clubbed finge…rs are sometimes referred to as "Hippocratic fingers". Hippocrates was also the first physician to describe Hippocratic face in Prognosis . Shakespeare famously alludes to this description when writing of Falstaff's death in Act II, Scene iii. of Henry V . Hippocrates began to categorize illnesses as acute, chronic, endemic and epidemic, and use terms such as, "exacerbation, relapse, resolution, crisis, paroxysm, peak, and convalescence." Another of Hippocrates' major contributions may be found in his descriptions of the symptomatology, physical findings, surgical treatment and prognosis of thoracic empyema, i.e. suppuration of the lining of the chest cavity. His teachings remain relevant to present-day students of pulmonary medicine and surgery. Hippocrates was the first documented chest surgeon and his findings are still valid. (MORE)

There is no medicine to take when you have food poisoning. This is due to the fact that your stomach is not settled and you will vomit up anything you put in there. The best thing to do is to keep yourself or your patient hydrated. The hospital would give you charcoal, and a IV and send you home for… rest. You should go to the doctor and make sure its not too serious. If its not they'll probably send you home and there are things you can use. For stomach upset, nausea, and vomiting you can use cola syrup. But if it persists you should really see a doctor (MORE)

Hippocrates was a doctor during the times of Ancient Greek. Back then, the doctoring methods were not backed up by research; rather, they were thought up by the same men who thought volcanoes were caused by fire breathing dragons trapped under mountains ;). That is to say, although the Greeks were b…rilliant people who made many discoveries, they had many theories that were perhaps slightly random. In the field of medicine at that time, for example, if a person came in with a headache, it would not be uncommon for a hole to be drilled in their head as treatment. Or if they had cramps or growing pains, the part of their body that experienced those pains would be "bled out". Well, hippocrates certainly practiced these techniques, but he also made several new, correct discoveries. He is mostly credited with linking food with weight. He was first to suggest that people eat more fruits and vegetables and exercise more for a healthy diet. That is mostly why hippocrates is now called the father of medicine. (MORE)

Hippocrates based his medical practice on observations and on thestudy of the human body. He held the belief that illness had aphysical and a rational explanation and his more than 70 booksdescribed in a scientific manner, many diseases and their treatmentafter detailed observation.

Hippocrates was so important to medicine for many different reasons. One of the reason was the four humours theory that he came up with. The four humours in your body that were black bile, yellow bile, blood and phlegm. He claimed that if one of these humours was to become unbalanced with the rest t…hen you would become ill. This was significant because up until this point people had believed in supernatural ideas and this was leading away from that. (MORE)
Hippocrates' role in the symbol for medicine has a long and complicated history which is based primarily on Greek mythology. To put it simply, the Roman god Mercury (Greek Hermes) was the god of medicine/science in the ancient world while Asclepius was the Roman god of healing. These Greco-Roman god…s later became associated with the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates (460-370 BC), who some call the "father of modern medicine" because, like modern doctors, he did not believe disease was caused by the anger of the gods but by scientifically explained circumstances. In North America, the staff of Mercury called the Caduceus is the symbol for medicine, but the Caduceus is based on the staff of the Greek god of healing Asclepius, called the rod of Asclepius. Like the staff of Mercury, the rod of Asclepius is entwined with a serpent, but the Caduceus sometimes bears a pair of wings at the top, representing the wings/agility of Mercury, while the rod of Asclepius usually does not. So in other words, you might find both the Caduceus (with wings) and the rod of Asclepius (without wings) as modern symbols for medicine. The serpent became associated with medicine because the ancients wrongly believed the snake was the only creature immune from disease. This is why Hippocrates and the serpent combined as symbols and became associated with the modern medical profession. All modern doctors take the "Hippocratic oath" (i.e. principles derived from the teachings of Hippocrates: to cure to the best of the ability and never wilfully harm a patient) upon entering the medical profession. Juliet says, "Deny they father and refute thy name," because she is willing to not let their feuding families hinder her and Romeo's romance. In saying this, she means that if he will forget that he is a Montague, then she will cease to be a Capulet, and they will be able to pursue the true love for… which they feel for each other. She goes on to say: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet." This means that no matter the name you have, you are still who you are as a person. So basically, in summary, Juliet says this to tell Romeo that she couldn't care less that she's a Capulet and he's a Montague, that she loves him for him, Romeo. Simply Romeo. (MORE)
