Did man make God or God make man?

God made man (see Genesis 1:26). He created this whole Galaxy! and it is true. He even created you.

Another answerIf you literally mean the god with the lower case ''g'' then man certainly made not just him but lots of ''hims'' as well since all gods other than the one true God are ultimately the creation of men's imagination. One tell-tale sign this is true is that all such have human characteristics and human limitations -just take a look at the Greek pantheon for example. Such a god or gods never created man.

If you mean the true God who has revealed Himself in the Bible, and has had real dealings with real people in space and time -He is the creator not just of man but of all there is -in the beginning. This true God has put eternity in the heart of man so that we do not truly rest until we find Him.

In Genesis, the Word of God states that God created man (singular) in His own image, in the image of God they (plural meaning Trinity) created him (man - singular). Read the first chapter of Genesis.
