We did not get our 1099-c from Chase either.Since ours was due to a short sale,we called the Chase Bank in Columbus ,Ohio,who concluded our short sale.I was transfered to 5 different departments who said our account was closed so they could not issue us a new one or get to our information.What???Our closed account is in a file there somewhere and they do have someone who does their tax statements.Beware,they will most likely give you the runaround and leave you stressed.Call the IRS after April 15th,and they say they can get you a duplicate.Dealing with Chase is a nightmare,and look up articles on if you absolutely need the 1099 to do your taxes,the internet is wealth of information. Good luck.

Washington Mutual Bank is no longer in business. It was purchased by Chase Bank. Chase Bank does offer free checking. I'm a Chase Bank customer and they are great!
