Force is the amount of energy applied in a certain direction.

Pressure is the amount of force on a certain area, for example on the walls of a container exerted by its contents.

Pressure can be expressed as ounces per square inch, or Newton per square meter and many other units. The SI unit of force is the Newton.

Pressure is also why you can lie on a bed of nails without getting skewered. The force your body applies to the bed is spread over all the nails. Because of this spreading the pressure on each separate nail is not enough to have it penetrate the skin -- if done right of course.
